Just a quick one today, off to Thunder Lake Provincial Park for a cold weekend of camping! Hopefully I don't freeze my bum off, but I do have a large bottle of Baileys to keep me warm :) MMM... Have a nice weekend and i'll post some pics from my adventure Sunday night.
Here are some pics of my baby sister and I having some fun with the tripod at the lake Easter weekend 2011.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I haven't been feeling 100%. I came across this picture of my little "Leather Rebel" taken awhile back. This was the only decent shot I got of Natalie as she had a cold this day and did not want to sit still for very long. Look at her chubby chins! She has so much personality, it just blows my mind. I was babysitting the 3 muskateers last night and the whole time I was there she kept singing "Bah Bah Blacksheep" & "Frère Jacques". She is so smart and learning more and more each day. I am very excited for the day I walk up my brothers sidewalk to all 3 of my babes pressed against the front window pane yelling "Aunty Kaykee!!"

This is one of my favourite pictures of Natalie, taken a week before last Christmas. Her and I spent the day together and she was quite happy with the life sized teddy bear we found for her. Look at those big blue eyes, just like her aunties!

I remember the day. I had gone over to Andrew and Michelle's house to see how their first doctors appointment with baby #2 went. They had opened up their computer to show me, what I thought were 2 different pictures of my soon to be niece or nephew..... and then they scrolled down. They both watched my reaction as I read the typing at the top of the photos "Twin A" & "Twin B". It was definitely a very shocking and happy moment for our family. It couldn't have happened to two better people.

I have made a goal for myself to do a decent blog this weekend, as my weekdays are always so busy. The focus will be of the mini maternity shoot I did with my sister-in-law and brother way back in April, only a month before the twins arrived. So here is a sneak peek at what is to come over the next couple of days.

My family have been visiting the same lake every summer for a significant part of my life (Upwards of 20 years now). It is a beautiful place, a hidden paradise, if I may be so bold as to call it that. Located an hour East of Kamloops, East Barriere Lake is my home away from home. Here are a few pictures captured from our glorious September long weekend.

I apologize for the spacing - I've been trying to get it all to line up for an entire day, and this is the best I came up with!

So here we go, this is my first post. Hopefully it isn't too painful for all of you! So my name is Katie, nice to meet you! I started this blog to share my many many pictures with my family, friends and those who want to take a peek into my life.
I have a 2 year old niece Natalie and 4 month old twin niece, Isabella and nephew, Rhodes. They are the lights of my life and definitely keep my world a very interesting place!
To catch all those up who haven't had the absolute pleasure of meeting the babes:
Natalie Noelle. Born Sept 3, 2009. Personality that captures everyone she comes in contact with.
|Natalie at the Lake July 2011|
Isabella Marie & Rhodes William Robert. Born May 15, 2011. Isabella being the first of the twins to greet the world, is definitely the serious one. Rhodes will be a heart breaker, this much I can guarantee!

These 3 little monkeys will for sure be the subject of the majority of my posts.
Writing definitely isn't my best skill, so hopefully my pictures can do the majority of the talking. So please, sit back, relax, and enjoy my story! I appreciate you popping by!
